LIVE Sept. 2025: Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) in the EIP

September 18, 2025 (Thursday), 2:00pm - 4:30pm and
September 19, 2025 (Friday), 2:00pm - 5pm

The focus of this training is on the steps related to development of an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)—from initial referral, through the process of developing an IFSP that meets the specific needs of the child and family, takes into account the family’s concerns, priorities and resources, and that meets EIP regulatory requirements.

Course topics include:
• Roles and responsibilities of IFSP team members
• Regulatory requirements pertaining to the IFSP process
• Preparation, development, and implementation of an IFSP
• How the IFSP must accurately reflect the child’s individual strengths and needs
• How the IFSP reflects meaningful outcomes (goals), considering the family’s resources, priorities, and concerns for their child’s development

This course is presented in a LIVE (real-time) interactive online format. Instructions on how to join the live virtual class are posted in the Files in this course.

After successfully completing BOTH live class sessions and a the post-course survey, you will receive a downloadable certificate of completion. If you have already earned a certificate of completion for this course either in a live or self-paced format IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, you cannot retake it and receive professional development credits. You must attend the entire series of two class sessions in order to qualify for a certificate of completion.
